At Blue, we want the electric, the bold, and every single risk taker.

We are so excited to announce our fourth anthology, tentatively titled: “I miss you everywhere”. This collection is a bit unorthodox, compared to our other (metaphor bound) anthologies. Instead of focusing on poetic imagery or symbolic interactionism, this collection follows its title quite literally; we are creating an anthology of poems and prose which are solely titled after songs that are named after places. Writers are encouraged to suggest a song title to be paired to their piece, but the final call will be made by the Blue reading team. We are including a list of said songs below, and pieces can be written as a response to a song (meaning after already having listened) or can be paired with a song you haven't even heard of that our team draws a connection to.

Our list of songs is subject to change and/or grow, but is currently: Harlem by New Politics, New York by St. Vincent, Manhattan by Sara Bareilles, Coney Island by Death Cab for Cutie, Boston by Augustana, Chicago by Sufjan Stevens, Alaska by Maggie Rogers, West Coast by Coconut Records, San Francisco by The Mowgli's, Berlin by New Politics, Munich by The Fray, Vienna by The Fray, Manchester by Nina Nesbitt, Paris by The Chainsmokers, Venice by The Lighthouse, Athens by Young Statues, Prague by Blaenavon, Amsterdam by Coldplay, Portugal by Walk the Moon, Moscow by Autoheart, Australia by The Shins, Glasglow by Catfish and the Bottlemen, Los Angeles by Nina Nesbitt, Upper West Side by King Princess, Atlantis by Seafret, and Cornelia Street by Taylor Swift.
